Please read these terms carefully before making a booking at Bella Vista, Carlingford.
By making a booking at Bella Vista, Carlingford ("the Property"), you ("the Guest") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. The booking is between the Guest and the host, Caroline ("the Host"). These terms apply to all direct bookings and bookings made via Airbnb or other platforms.
A booking is confirmed once a deposit or full payment has been received by the Host and written confirmation has been sent to the Guest. The lead Guest must be at least 18 years of age at the time of booking.
By confirming your booking, you agree on behalf of all members of your party to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
Early check-in or late check-out may be available on request, subject to availability, and must be agreed with the Host in advance. Additional charges may apply.
Guests must ensure that all personal belongings are removed from the property at check-out. The Host accepts no responsibility for items left behind, though reasonable efforts will be made to return them.
This website does not handle, collect, or process any payments. The booking enquiry form is used solely to indicate your preferred dates, group size, and payment method. Once your enquiry is submitted, the Host (Caroline) will contact you directly to confirm availability and arrange payment between you and the Host through your agreed method.
For direct bookings, the following payment terms apply once confirmed with the Host:
Accepted payment methods (e.g. bank transfer, cash, or other) will be confirmed by the Host at the time of booking. Prices are quoted in Euro (€) and include all applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
For bookings made via Airbnb, Airbnb's payment terms apply. No Airbnb service fees are charged on direct bookings.
The following cancellation policy applies to all bookings at Bella Vista. This policy is consistent with Airbnb's Firm cancellation policy currently in use for this property:

Refunds on Request: We understand that circumstances can change unexpectedly. Refunds outside of the standard policy above may be considered on a case-by-case basis upon request. Please contact the Host directly to discuss your situation — we will always do our best to find a fair solution.
We strongly recommend that all guests take out travel insurance to cover unforeseen cancellations, medical emergencies, or other unexpected events.
For bookings made through Airbnb, Airbnb's cancellation policy displayed at the time of booking applies. In the event of any conflict, the Airbnb policy will take precedence for those bookings.
All guests are required to comply with the House Rules. Failure to do so may result in termination of the stay without refund.
Guests are responsible for any loss or damage to the property, its contents, and fittings during their stay. The Host reserves the right to charge for any damage beyond normal wear and tear.
A security deposit may be required for some bookings. If applicable, details will be provided at the time of booking. Security deposits are returned within 7 days of check-out, less any deductions for damage.
For bookings via Airbnb, Airbnb's AirCover damage protection applies. Guests are asked to report any accidental damage to the Host as soon as possible during their stay.
The Host shall not be liable for any personal injury, loss of life, or damage to personal property sustained at the property, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
Guests use the property, gardens, patio, and all amenities at their own risk. Guests are responsible for the safety and supervision of children and pets in their group at all times.
The Host reserves the right to terminate a booking and require guests to vacate the property immediately, without refund, if guests are found to be in serious breach of these Terms & Conditions or are causing a nuisance to neighbours.
Any request to change booking dates or guest numbers must be made in writing to the Host. Changes are subject to availability and may affect the booking price. The Host cannot guarantee that all change requests can be accommodated.
In the unlikely event that the Host must cancel a confirmed booking (e.g. due to unforeseen circumstances or property unavailability), the Guest will receive a full refund of all amounts paid. The Host's liability in such circumstances will be limited to the refund of the booking amount only.
Any personal data collected as part of the booking process will be used solely for the purpose of managing your reservation. Your data will not be shared with third parties except as required to process your booking (e.g. payment providers). For full details, please see our Privacy Policy.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
